Once I knew I anated to base my front cover on the theme of exam-stress, I scoured the internet to find an image similar to how I envisaged my front cover to appear. I the proceeded to produce a mock-up of my front cover.
This is the image I put together. A fter analysing and evaluating my mock-up I found several factors which didn't work well together, such as clashing

Experimenting with close-up images
At the start of the project I was unsure of the type of shot I wanted to use for my front cover image. I decided to experiment with several close-up images and try to encorporate then within my front cover. Here is an example:
After reflecting on the edited images, I felt that the close-ups didn't fit well within the image. Therefore, I decided that I wanted to use just the one close-up image for my front cover; thus being able to reflect detail whilst being more lively in relation to a wide-shot image. The process of reserching and experimenting with close-up images, within a larger landscape image, has hepled me to gain a clear idea of what type of image I am aiming to produce for my final front cover.

The Survey
I have produced an online survey in order to help me uncover what people would desire within a Sixth Form magazine. I hope that through my survey I will be able to pin-pont my target audience because at present I am still unsure on whether my magazine should be aimed at students and parents or solely students. I believe the survey, through being online, has enabled people to quickly access and answer it. My survey consists of ten different questions; I believe this aomunt is suitable as more questions would be off-putting, time-consuming and inconvenient for the person filling in the survey.
Please click on the link below to take my online survey.
Thankyou for your time!

I began my school magazine project by taking photographs around the school grounds; trying to reflect the vast amont of facilities the school has to offer. All the photographs were taken within the school gorunds; this is importnat as the front cover of my magazine needs to show the real school and the real students from the Sixth Form. I took the photographs on a sunny aftrenoon; thus enabling a bright and clear focus.
